LeBron James has reached yet another milestone in his illustrious basketball career by scoring his 35,000th point in the NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar achieved this feat during the team’s game against the Brooklyn Nets on April 10th, National Post Today 2021. James’ incredible accomplishment came as no surprise to his fans and fellow players, who have witnessed his dominance on the court for over a decade. However, it is nevertheless an impressive feat that only a handful of players have achieved before him, including legends such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, and Kobe Bryant.
The 36-year-old forward is already considered one of the greatest players in NBA history, having won four championships, four MVP awards, and two Olympic gold medals, among other accolades. He has also been a driving force in social justice activism, using his platform to raise awareness about racial inequality and police brutality. In the Lakers’ game against the Nets, James scored 7 points in the first quarter to reach the 35,000-point mark.
He then went on to finish the game with a total of 32 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. Although the Lakers ultimately lost the game to the Nets, James’ record-breaking performance was undoubtedly the highlights of the night.
