Breezy Knees. What an unusual name, but once you have heard it, you likely will not forget it. That was the primary reason for the choice by owners Colin & Marylen Parker. Breezy Knees is a lovely garden to visit as well as a nursery selling to the public. It is located just a short drive on the northeast side of York. Actually, it is in a small suburb of a village to York called Warthill, Yorkshire County, England.
The Flamingo Land Zoo at Kirbymisperton has grown rapidly over the last few years. It is really a zoo and a theme park, with some really thrilling rides available. There are lots of animals to view and plenty of shows throughout the day. It really does offer something for everyone, so it is a good family day out.
The first pub you find when walking from the canal into the old salt town of Nantwich. A very clean, well run pub with low ceilings, bench and stools for seating, 6x beers and economical meals. There is a rear beer garden for sunny days as well. The landlord does a Saturday evening floor show! Great vigo village weather fun indeed!
If visitors are keen to see more wildlife, there are several boats that can take you to Lundy Island for the day. The island that is ever present as you look out to sea from the north Devon coast is a haven for wildlife. The 3.5 mile long beach is a perfect day out for bird watching, photography and walking or you can do all 3 in one go! The sea around the island is England’s only Vigo Village UK statutory marine nature reserve.
England is a very modern country, but – conversely – it’s also a very traditional one and proud of its history and customs. These traditions and customs make England such a fun place to visit – as long as you’re prepared to join in.

This old restored mill sits right on the towpath in the lovely little village of Wrenbury. Tastefully new, without being stark. Outside seating so you can watch passing boaters playing with the electric lift bridge. The Cotton Arms, just down the road, is also a great little pub. Old traditional pub with great meals.
